One of the most pressing topics among golf fans is whether Tiger Woods will participate in the 2023 Ryder Cup.
Sadly, it has been made official that he won't be sporting the recognizable Team USA outfit this time. This does not exclude Woods from having an influence on the proceedings, though.
Unquestionably one of the most recognizable and successful players in history, Woods won't be participating in the 2023 Ryder Cup as a player or serving as an official vice-captain.
Despite this, his impact and presence are still felt throughout the team. Zach Johnson, the captain of the USA,
recently discussed Woods' work behind the scenes and his role in developing Team USA's plan for the upcoming competition.
He disclosed that as his countrymen prepared for the fight against Team Europe,
Woods had been imparting his wealth of knowledge to them. According to Zach Johnson (of CBS Sports):
The 2021 Ryder Cup served as a platform to highlight the famous golfer's commitment to Team USA. Despite not taking part in the game directly, he played a crucial role in inspiring and motivating his teammates remotely.
Arch Manning has not clinched Texas' backup quarterback position.
