Tesla's planned $25,000 automobile and robotaxi are both futuristic and 'Cybertruck-like' in appearance.

Tesla's future $25,000 electric car and dedicated robotaxi vehicle will look futuristic and "Cybertruck-like," according to the new authorized biography of Elon Musk.

Two new electric vehicles from Tesla are highly anticipated by the public: a smaller and cheaper electric car, commonly referred to as the "$25,000 Tesla model," and a new "dedicated robotaxi,

a vehicle designed from the ground up for autonomous driving without pedals or steering wheel. The Cybertruck is expected to be released any day now.

Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, first mentioned the former on Battery Day 2020, when he stated that the company's new 4680 battery will allow it to produce such a vehicle.

It has also been related to a new Tesla electric hatchback that the company planned to manufacture in China at the Gigafactory Shanghai for international sale.

The original release date of 2023 was pushed back as Tesla prioritized increasing Model Y production and working on autonomous driving technology.

Regarding the robotaxi, Tesla has stated that all consumer vehicles manufactured since 2016 will be able to become robotaxis through a software update, but at Tesla's Cyber Rodeo event in April 2022,

Musk announced that Tesla would also construct a new vehicle designed expressly to be a "robotaxi.

Famous biographer Walter Isaacson has spent the past few years immersed in Musk's world in preparation for writing the official biography of the successful businessman.

He is doing what many authors do before publishing a book like this: he is leaking details about the content to the media.
