Sam Heughan of 'Outlander' on Being Ready to 'Love Again'

Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in the time-travel epic love drama Outlander, is renowned as the King of Men. Jamie is brave, loyal, incredibly brilliant, witty,

resourceful, educated, mysterious, noble, an outlaw, honest, Scot-stubborn, and absolutely lovable. And, above all, the role's main takeaway is his passionate love

for his wife Claire Fraser (Caitrona Balfe), for whom he would lay down his life.It's a difficult act to follow, but during the COVID lockdown, 

Heughan obtained the script for Love Again and decided it would be a fantastic follow-up, being a modern-day love story with all the characteristics of a solid rom-com.

"It read so, so well," adds Heughan. "It's a very funny, very tight script," she says, "and I just thought,'really, really nice characters, really rounded characters, 

really pleasant love story that I think we all need in this day and age.'"Mira Ray (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) loses her soon-to-be fiancé in a vehicle accident at the start of Love Again. 

As part of her rehabilitation, she begins sending him love texts on his former cell phone number, unaware that the number has been reassigned to Rob Burns (Heughan).

Rob, who has recently been rejected, is intrigued by the texts and decides to see the woman behind them. When he is tasked with writing a profile on megastar Céline Dion (who is playing herself in her debut film role),
