NFL teams cut 53 players today, so trades dominated.

On Tuesday, a series of deals headlined the NFL's roster cutdown day.

In Denver, kicker Wil Lutz will reunite with coach Sean Payton. The Eagles acquired tight end Albert Okwuegbunam

from the Denver Broncos. Nick Folk, a veteran kicker, moved from New England to Tennessee.

Among the players traded were defensive end Boogie Bashum, defensive tackle Neil Farrell Jr., cornerbacks

Noah Igbinoghene and Kelvin Joseph, offensive linemen Dan Feeney and Kendrick Green, and wide receiver/returner Ihmir Smith-Marsette.

Jonathan Taylor, on the other hand, isn't going anywhere. The Indianapolis Colts did not move their unhappy star running back,

but they did place him on the physically unable to perform list. Even if he gets traded, he will miss the first four games.

New England made the most surprise move, releasing second-year quarterback Bailey Zappe. Last year, Zappe was 2-0
