NFL Analyst Boldly Predicts 20-0 Season For One Team, But Fans Are Not Buyin' It

This upcoming NFL season will only be the second flawless one in league history, according to a prominent sports media figure.

The only team in history to go undefeated both throughout the regular season and in the postseason (17-0) was the Miami Dolphins in 1972.

Of course, the 2007 New England Patriots won their first 18 games before losing a heartbreaking Super Bowl 42 to the New York Giants.

Nick Wright, a Kansas City Chiefs fan, boldly predicted that his club would go 20-0 on the most recent episode of FS1's "First Things First," saying to "Drop the banner."

The most recent club to come close to a perfect season was the Carolina Panthers in 2015.

They started 14-0 before losing on the road to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16, and their attempt to finish an incredible 18-1 season ended with a disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

Of all, even with the finest player in the competition in Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City's chances of going 20-0 are incredibly slim.

In addition to opponents like the New York Jets (who naturally added Aaron Rodgers) and Bill Belichick's New England Patriots who could cause some difficulty for the defending champions, nine of their 17 games are against teams with winning records.
