Mark Wahlberg watches paralyzed hockey player's recovery footage.

Jake Thibeault suffered a break in two vertebrae while playing for a youth hockey team in a competition held on Labor Day more than two years ago.

Today, he is a social media sensation who shares motivational videos of his arduous recovery program.

"It's been two years since the unthinkable took place. "Life presented me with the most significant challenge I'd ever faced," Thibeault said.

"I'd never been through anything like it before."

In 2021, Thibeault fell headfirst into the boards after an ice collision, paralyzing him from the waist down.

He missed his senior hockey season at Milton Academy, but he recovered well and graduated from high school in June.

"I see how far I've come and how far I have to go," Thibeault added.

Thibeault, a sophomore at Babson College, posts recordings from his four-hour treatment sessions six days a week.
