Deion Sanders and Jay Norvell meet at midfield after wild Colorado vs Colorado State game

After a classic but occasionally contentious matchup between the two schools' football teams on Saturday night,

Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders and Colorado State football head coach Jay Norvell met at middle and exchanged pleasantries with one another.

Given their prior exchanges over professionalism, everyone was watching to see how they interacted with each other after the game.

The conflict between Coach Prime and Norvell, which had been going on all week, set the stage for a stressful event.

During the game, there were multiple personal foul penalties called, including one for a late contact on Buffaloes two-way standout Travis Hunter, who has since been taken to the hospital due to his injuries.

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for Colorado, led a 98-yard drive in the final two minutes of the game as the Buffaloes trailed 28-20.

He completed the two-point conversion by throwing a pass to walk-on tight end Michael Harrison. The No. 18 Buffaloes were able to stop the Rams and send the game into overtime.

After committing back-to-back personal fouls in the opening session of overtime for a facemask and then targeting, Colorado State was ejected from the game.

The targeting personal foul resulted in the ejection of the top defensive standout for the Rams, Mohamed Kamara.

This paved the way for the game-winning touchdown pass from Shedeuer Sanders to Harrison. The immediate response from Colorado State tied the score at 35-35 in the game.
