including slowing negotiations with Antetokounmpo during the 2010 offseason and negotiating with Wade during the 2016 offseason.

The Miami Heat have been linked to a trade for Damian Lillard since the 2023 season, but what if they wait for Giannis Antetokounmpo instead?

The two-time MVP sparked trade rumors in an August 24 New York Times interview with Tania Ganguli.

“Next summer it would make more sense for both parties,” Antetokounmpo told Ganguli regarding signing another Bucks extension. 

“Even then, I don't know. I would not be my best if I didn't know that everyone is on the same page, going for a championship, and sacrificing time with their families as I do. I won't sign till I feel that."

Last season, Milwaukee's Antetokounmpo averaged a career-high 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 63 games, hitting 55.3% of his field goal attempts and 27.5% of his three-pointers

The seven-time All-Star is one of the game's best bigs, so if he left the Bucks, he would have a massive market.
