Cowboys: Final 53-man roster prediction before 2023 NFL season

Now that the Dallas Cowboys' preseason has concluded, it's time to focus on Tuesday's cutdown day. By Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, every NFL team must comply by reducing their rosters to 53 players.

That's easier said than done for a team as deep as the Cowboys. Running back, edge rusher, and cornerback are all likely to see some tough cuts, and some of these calls will be coaches' worst fears.

The following is my final roster prediction for the Cowboys prior of the 2023 regular season. There's a good chance the Cowboys will do some "roster gymnastics,"

such as starting players on the practice squad, then calling them up for gameday for a couple of weeks before signing them to the 53-man roster as injuries occur.

There aren't many ways to anticipate those other than guessing, thus this article won't contain many of those predictions.

Another disclaimer: putting up a roster prediction is extremely difficult, and yeah,

I'm glad I'm not a coach making these decisions. I know this final forecast will have numerous errors,

but let me give you my educated opinion as to how things will look after everything is said and done.
