Bills release former Josh Allen protector

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Buffalo Bills have released offensive tackle David Quessenberry.

Last season, David Quessenberry started three games for the Bills in his only season with the organization.

According to Pro Football Reference, he spent the previous three seasons with the Tennessee Titans and his debut year with the Houston Texans.

Quessenberry did not appear in an NFL game until his third season, the 2020 season, and his second with the Titans.

He was Tennessee's full-time right tackle in 2021 before joining the Bills for the 2022 season.

Quessenberry will now have to find a new position, most likely as a depth offensive lineman.

Quessenberry was listed as the Bills' second-string right tackle behind Spencer Brown, who is in his third season in the league.

The offensive line's remaining starters are Ryan Bates, Mitch Morse, Connor McGovern, and Dion Dawkins.
