Aaron Rodgers fires stern warning to rest of NFL after Jets debut

Aaron Rodgers thinks he still has "some fire left in me," and the New York Jets quarterback says he is "ready" for the 2023 season following a strong debut with the Jets.

Rodgers took the field for the first time as a Jets quarterback on Saturday, playing in two series against the New York Giants.

Rodgers completed five of his eight attempts, had 37 passing yards, and threw a touchdown in his brief appearance.

Rodgers and the Jets had a successful night, as Gang Green defeated the Giants 32-24. "I believe we're ready."I'm excited for the season," Rodgers remarked, according to The New York Post.

Rodgers was playing in a game without a Green Bay Packers jersey for the first time in his NFL career.

"There are always butterflies when you step out there for the first time, but I relaxed pretty quickly when I got the standing ovation when I took the field."

"Having that kind of support was a special moment," Rodgers remarked. Rodgers, who turns 40 in December, threw a fantastic pass that ended in a 14-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson.

"And as you saw tonight, guys who haven't seen me play know that I still have some fire in me.""I'm going to bring that every week," Rodgers stated. Meanwhile
