NFL world reacts to brutal Damar Hamlin news

Damar Hamlin, a safety for the Buffalo Bills, went into cardiac arrest on the field during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals the year before and required life-saving CPR. The incident was one of the greatest stories of the year and made Hamlin a household name. Not only did he bounce back from the terrifying experience, but he was also given the all-clear to go back out on the field. On the other hand, it appears as though we will have to wait at least one more week for that comeback.

According to the NFL Network, Damar Hamlin will not play for the team when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders this week. Hamlin did not participate in the season-opening game against the New York Jets on Monday night last week. Hamlin was a healthy scratch for that game as well.

“Damar Hamlin once again is inactive with that deep #Bills secondary,” a league insider named Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network claimed in a tweet on Sunday. Stacey Dales was the source for this information.

The fact that Hamlin’s dream comeback to the NFL will have to be put on hold for one more week is obviously devastating news for him, and as a direct result, people in the NFL community have had a lot to say about it on social media.

It is almost clear that Hamlin will be given the opportunity to make his return to the National Football League at some point during this season, but it will not be this week.
